Empowering the future through education
In rural Tanzania, access to education remains a daily challenge for many children. 80% of the 40 students we support through this program are orphans, living under the care of grandmothers or neighbors within their communities. Most of these families struggle to cover even the most basic needs — food, electricity, clothing, or healthcare.
Many of these children come from agricultural households, depending entirely on seasonal harvests. During the rainy season, attending school often becomes impossible, as their help is needed in the fields to secure food for the family.
Despite the difficulties, their potential is extraordinary. Some of these children show incredible academic talent — but without access to school materials, a stable environment, or financial support, their dreams of a better future fade away.
Our commitment with SOFTQUO
Through the SOFTQUO program, we ensure these students have the opportunity they deserve. We cover their school fees, allowing them to stay in school and focus on their education. Since the program started, we’ve seen remarkable improvements in their academic performance and motivation.
But there is still much more we can do.
With additional support, we aim to provide school uniforms, improve classroom facilities, and create a safer, more inspiring environment for learning.
